Rowlands is a youth project based in Selkirk which is open 6 days a week.  We provide a variety of group work , fun and drop in sessions throughout the year  for young people aged 12- 18 in a safe environment where all young people irrespective of gender or ability can participate.  Check out our what’s on page to find out about each of the groups.  There is no charge to attend any of the sessions.

Rowlands has four part-time staff and is supported by a team of volunteers with a variety of skills and backgrounds.  We are reliant on grants and fundraising to enable us to keep the doors open throughout the year.  If you think that you can help either by a monthly donation or could sponsor one of our activities please get in touch. Any support you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

To enable the best outcomes and opportunities for our young people we work in collaboration with our local primary and high schools, community shed, local businesses, community councillors, and other individuals. We have assisted in setting up Selkirk High Schools Breakfast Club and have worked closely in partnership to deliver the transitions programme to all P7's which normally starts at easter time and then they are allowed to all of the groups at summer.

When summer comes we offer a variety of trips. These in the past included Blair Drummond Safari park, Bowling, Escape Rooms, trampolining and many other local places as well as some other further afield.

Rowlands is also available for hire, for groups, and meetings so please feel free to get in contact if you would like to find out more and please find us on Facebook to be kept up to date on what’s happening.
